First submission in awhile, this one's for Bramblestar's contest and It has a story to go with it....
The Story.
Rainpaw sighed her limbs burned with exhaustion, her mentor hazelstrike had pushed her too far with the battle training. But it wasn't her fault it was her first time being a mentor. Slumping down into the apprentice den it was times like these she missed Owlpaw well now Owltalon. Of course he wasn't dead but he just moved to the warrior's den and they haven't talked much since.

Sighing once more she closed her eyes waiting for sleep to overcome her. Tiny fluttering sounds and the fresh scent of flowers made her eyes flicker and for a second they opened. Surprised by what she saw she blinked them open once more. It wasn't early new leaf, it was mid green leaf and she was surrounded by butterflies.

She knew it was a dream but she couldn't help but let out a dreamy sigh, and then with a kit like squeal she set out chasing the butterflies until she was tired. But a scent overcame her, one so familiar and welcoming, Owltalon.... Lifting her stormy blue eyes she met his and together they chased the butterflies. No words to be spoken, their tails entwined.
